A spin off my jelly thread...

Can you blanch and freeze dandelion leaves? Or dehydrated? I'm looking for a way to stock up on them this season.

They are so thin, it might be like blanching and freezing lettuce leaves. But it yu choppied them and put them in casseroles, it wouldn't matter. Or maybe like frozen spinach. I can usu. find them all year here, because mostly it just rains a lot in the winter.

Thanks.

I had dandelion gravy before, and it includes leaves in the recipe.

I'll keep researching it.

I've dried some before, but not for using to cook with (for herbal purposes) so I don't know how they'd do for cooking.
