Thought you girls might be interested in a dedicated PC for your kitchen - heat resistant, touch screen, stores under the cabinet. You wouldn't have to print the recipes and carry the paper copy to the kitchen, just leave it displayed on the screen while cooking..

My dream kitchen would have a dedicated PC in the kitchen to do recipe searches and menu planning. I have wireless too and I know what you mean about convenience... But I usually leave my laptop plugged in to the AC power anyway...Every once in a while I sit on the patio and use it.

I never thought about that; but I do use my laptop in the kitchen. We have a Linksys wireless network in our house so we can go anywhere to surf, including out on the deck or the porch or the pasture. Well, we tend to lose the signal out in the pasture, but it's okay for working.
