Posted - Mar 12 2012 : 1:08:50 PM My mother inlaw has a large jug of aloe vera juice, she's had it for a long time and has never opened it. I think it is more for medicinal purposes. Does anyone know of any uses for it, or if it would be and good yet? |

Posted - Mar 15 2012 : 7:37:31 PM I saw on a blog you can use it for a mouthwash. It had several other ingredients with it, but Aloe Vera Juice was one of the main ones. Here's the link: http://simpleorganic.net/diy-homemade-mouthwash/

Posted - Mar 15 2012 : 6:44:47 PM It soothes an irritated gut. I also use it for dry skin and a hair rinse on occasion. I also mix it with water to spray the reptiles. In my experience an expiration date is just a suggestion to go and buy a newer version of said product after this date. If it smells funky, tastes funky, feels funky and you're not sure, then don't use it. But if it seems ok, I use stuff way past the date.
