Does anyone esle live the low-carb lifestyle? I did it for about 10 years after my second son was born. Then during my divorce and and for about 3 years 'fell off the wagon'.

I gained about 30 lbs. Yuck. I have been back on the low-carb since New Years and doing very well. I love the lifestyle and it works well for my body type and my family.

Just wondering if anyone else does it? Please share some of you favorite meal ideas. I love to get new ideas for meals and low carb snacks.

My favorite meal is Taco salad. Lots of veggies with taco meat and spicy salsa. Also i make low-carb pizzas all the time.

Thanks
Arttie

We also have home-grown beef in our freezer. we love it. We eat alot of beef and chicken. And we eat a ton of veggies. Some we have grown and other we pick up at the store. We are trying to use the store-bought food less and less over time.

But with 5 kids living at home, sometimes I need to throw in some 'fillers' like rice and pasta.

We have modified our diet, we are trying to cut way down on Gluten and amping up on the dark green veggies. We still eat carbs, but only those that are considered slow carbs.

Favorite meal would be grass-fed organic steak with roasted brussel sprouts and pecans, and baked sweet potatoes. But we eat Kale, Collards, Broccoli or Spinach at least three times a day!
