Last summer some time I bought the Bon Appetit Fast, Easy Fresh Cookbook. We used it a few times and everything we tried was amazing so when I saw the regular Bon Appetit cookbook at a ridiculously low price I jumped on it. I've only had time to try a couple of recipes since I got it but both were amazing.
We also joined a CSA and a couple of weeks ago they offered baby turnips - I knew I had read that these were fabulous so I ordered them, then turned to my BA cookbook. Sure enough - Turnips Dauphinois - basically turnips with cream, and some spices but my goodness does the cooking technique make a difference. I hate to say it by the two of us ate the whole pan (in my defense that was all I chose to eat, but still!) Anyway - I have a whole new appreciation for turnips - the french definitely know what they are doing food and otherwise - and I have vowed to cook every recipe in that cookbook!

Oh my Amy Grace that recipe sounds wonderful. I love turnips too. I will have to give it a try!
