Today we are having a blizzard, with snow, wind and cold, I love it! So, I have just put a nice pork roast, potatoes, carrots and onions in the Crock Pot should start smelling real good before too long. I will also make a Butter Pecan Cake for Dessert, can not have a good meal with out a delicious dessert.
How is the weather in your neck of the woods and what will be your plate for supper tonight?
Enjoy your day Farmgirl Sisters.
Farmgirl Hugs,
Deb

Sounds wonderful-There is nothing like something in the crockpot for dinner when there is a blizzard going on!

It's Friday Night Fish Fry at our house tonight-"Crew" tonight at the university so DH and DD will be heading out the door by 6:00-

I would LOVE your recipe for the Butter Pecan Cake!

That sounds awesome--did you use a pork loin roast, or pork shoulder roast? Any seasoning with it? And, how about that recipe for that butter pecan cake!?

While I was in Southern California visiting my DS, DDIL, and DGD, I did a lot of cooking. It is amazing to cook for more than one person and to have them appreciate and enjoy it. We had fried chicken--mashed potatoes & gravy--green beans a couple of times and then I made the most delicious pulled BBQ pork in the crock pot. We had that a couple of times also. The weather in So. Cal. was wonderful and warm.j
