Hello Ladies!

I was just wondering if any of you use freezer paper to freeze your meats? I've never used it before, but was thinking about it. Just wanted some input on how effective it is at keeping freezer burn off.

Thanks!

Emily

Thanks for all of the input! I was wondering if the paper alone would be enough, but it looks like it wont!

Jonni, I will have to check out that mega freezer storage system. I had never heard of it before.

I use freezer paper only when its going to eaten soon, other wise I use a vaccum system...

We've always used freezer paper and double wrap it; never had any problems with freezer burn.

I use freezer paper and I like it pretty well. I have not had any problems with freezer burn. I just wrap the meats in the paper and place it in a freezer bag.

I do, actually. Then I wrap it in foil, then in freezer bags. Overkill? Maybe, but my meat tastes good. I'm debating on doing that mega freezer storage system but I can't shell out the money right now :)
