I absolutely adore this soup from MJF. It has been a staple lately as I have been rushing back and forth and only had some cooking utensils as we were moving. I love how juicy the corn nuggets get and how you get a very full bodied soup. I am so grateful that I can mix up a quick batch of soup or Chili Mac or something on days when our schedule is running away from us and Nora is being picky. She always loves the MJF food.

I sure wish I had the money to try her stuff!

that being said, that's why I like mine too. I only use mild salsa, I really like one at Target that is mild and has peaches, nice and sweet, not too sweet, but still sweet). And that's why I use sweet potatoes too. For the extra kick of sweet. Most people use regular white ones, but I like it just a tad more sweet (also this way it's more tolerable cold in the summer time). And it's just so yummy! And easy! lol

Heather that sounds good but is a different flavor profile than the MJF one. The MJF one is more sweet (not overly so) and not spicy.

I make a version often.

I saute onions and sweet potatoes till tender and if I can caramelized.

I add black beans and corn, (equal amounts).

And then a chunky salsa.

The great thing about this soup is it is good hot or cold. yummy yummy!

Kris- no it is one of the foods that you can buy from MaryJanesFarm. It's all organic and we buy it in bulk. It also comes in the awesome portable food pouches (great for the office where my husband and I work).

It is so good. I look forward to lunch time! I also really enjoy the Tomato Soup and the Potato soup. Some mornings deciding which of the foods to take for lunch is harder to decide than what I want to wear! :)
