It looks like a Russian tea cake but it has white chocolate and I think crushed candy canes in it and pecans I think. The woman at the bake sale who made them called them Snowballs but that's way too generic. She thinks they are fairly new. Thanks, JoAnn

Found it! Went to the bake sale and talked to the woman who made them and she didn't have the recipe with her but she said that it was on the back of the white swirled chocolate chip package. I found this on line. The red bits weren't crushed candy canes but these red and green swirl chips. Not sure if they make them still but will look tomorrow. I've made Cream Cheese Snowballs before. As an extra treat, I've added crushed candy canes to the powdered sugar and then rolled them in that. Does that sound right?
