Ok, so I am making my 30 day cake and I have gone gluten free because of some health issues. It is helping alot so far, by the way, and I am really loving this.

But I need to know of anyone has used any GF cake mixes. I need yellow cake mix and vanilla pudding for this cake. And it just dawned on me I will not be able to use regular cake mix now.

Anyway, just wondered if you had tried GF cake mixes and what you thought of them. And if boxed pudding mixes have gluten in them. And if so, what can I do. Make homemade pudding?

I am sure I will have lots of questions about all this.

Thanks, Ann. I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to eat any of this cake and I would be so sad. But now I think I will be able to! I am SO happy now! And I will check out your blog. Thanks.

And, P.S. Jell-o Brand instant pudding is GF. Something to consider.

Betty has become my new best friend! All her mixes are good. Also, anything by Gluten Free Pantry, and Pamela's Baking Mix (which you can get cheapest on Amazon.com).

I've posted some recipes on my blog using these mixes - go check them out!

I did not know BC had GF mixes. Thanks. I don't usually buy them but I will look next time I am at the store.

Betty Crocker's GF yellow cake mix is really good. I use it in alot of my recipes. Not sure on the pudding mixes though.
Hope this helps!
