Has anyone oven canned dried foods? I read a articule about oven canning flours, beans, coffee etc, to keep buggie critters out of dried foods. I would like to know if this would work.

I went to your blog, most interesting. I followed your oven canning instructions and have started a batch of misc jars, dried pinto beans, noodles, macaroni, coffee and cornmeal. These will be my test jars. Thanks so much I'll post back when I'm done.

Actually I read that same article and tried it and love it. I did a post about it on my blog. I will be using this method from now on for all my dry storage. It is wonderful!
