What's your favorite Thanksgiving leftover? For me, it's the pumpkin pie! Yummm!

I love, love, love pie (did you see my blog post about my love for pie?) MMMMmm...My favorite fall dessert is pumpkin pie. Course, you could wrap dirt in pumpkin and I'd probably eat it. I love pumpkin. This year, for my pie, I used MaryJane's butter pie crust that I won a pie contest with, and it was delicious and perfect for my pumpkin pie. I'm usually such a healthy eater, but I have been known to eat leftover pumpkin pie for breakfast! Breakfast of champions! I also love the old classic green bean casserole as a close second. What's your favorite leftover? How many days do you eat leftovers after Turkey day before you say enough is enough?

I like turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwiches too. Thankfully we have a pretty good cafeteria here that always has this on Sunday (sometimes other days of the week too, but it's hit and miss the rest of the week, always on Sunday though). So I have to go on Sundays to get it! lol haha Then of course living on 75 plus acres, we eat turkey/pheasant/duck when ever dad or my brothers go hunting too.

However, only one other person makes a sweet potato casserole I like as well as what I make (in fact I ripped it off her, I had her's a couple of times, and she refused to give me the recipe, but I'm pretty sure with my experimenting I figured it out! lol) so, I must say sweet potato casserole since I don't make it often and like I said, I can't seem to get it any where else, is my favorite.

Me too.
Except I like mustard better than
ketchup.

I like left over meatloaf sandwiches.
Roll with mustard, red onion, sliced
tomato, and cold meatloaf.

Hmmm...pie, turkey or ham, and the cranberry relish made by the Mister's mom (great on turkey sandwiches or tucked into crescent rolls).

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

I think turkey sandwiches are my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love pie, especially pumpkin, but I could have that more often. We had Thanksgiving at my mom's this year and I made the pies, so I kept one home, but what I really wished for the day after, was a turkey sandwich!

left over stuffing is a great thickener in turkey soup...

I agree with all of you! But all I can say is that I have one pumpkin pie left, and no stuffing or mashed potatoes!!!
Oh, it's all yummy!! ----L

Well, the pie is gone, and think I'll throw out the rest of the stuffing. Mine has eggs in it and the three of us just couldn't get it all eaten. ;)

All of it! Which we had again yesterday at my mom's. It tastes even better a few days later. And she made the best pumpkin pie. Really fluffy and so good.

Nope, just press them into patties about 3 inches wide and half inch thick and fry them in butter. Yum.

I like stuffing too. LOL, Tina, at your "Heart Attack in a Bird". Too funny! Amie, do you add anything to the mashed potatoes when you fry them up as patties?

Mash potatoes! Warmed up with gravy or fried in patties for breakfast, homemade mashed potatoes rock.

ohh, stuffing. Didn't get any this year as I didn't have time to get some decent gluten free bread. I love stuffing.

stuffing, and as my daughter calls it, "Heartattack in a Bird", lol...made with tons of butter, seasoning, chopped red onions, and broth till its almost too soggy, put in the bird and any that does not fit, around the bird, so all the flavors mix and the bird is never dry, never have to baste, just cover with foil tightly and cook till done...
