It is time to start cooking and baking with molasses. We have been making molasses these past two weeks. So I decided to blog about our family's favorite molasses recipes and bread recipes. Hope y'all like them! Here is the link to my blog... http://yesterdaysfarm.weebly.com/yesterdays-farm-blog.html

Molasses cookies are my favorite! I've never made sweet bread like that before so I'll put it on the menu. Thanks!

I use the same molasses cookie recipe! I have even found it to be a huge success at the farmers market. I have had several people order them by the dozen! I have a hard time getting out of the house with them though. My whole family loves them!

Oops!!! So sorry, Laura--sometimes, my fingers do just what THEY want to do!!! I can't wait to start baking--we've had a nice cool down here, in Northern Kentucky, but last weeek it was 80 or so!

Miss Jonni, Thank you so much I hope you have fun with the recipes!! I also use our molasses in the gingerbread that I make. Oh Miss Jonni, I am Laura not Kayla, but they do sound the same. :) Hope you have a wonderful day! God Bless, Laura at Yesterday's Farm

That's awesome, Kayla! The only thing I really ever use molasses for is my gingersnaps and gingerbread recipes. I'll check your blog out, though, to see if there's something else that strikes my fancy!
