our friends are coming to bbq goat ribs. we are wondering if we need to precook the ribs in oven first. beef i precook pork i do not. so should i cook them this morning in oven first? thanks girls happy days sherrye

I say slow and low as well. They can get "stringy".

I simmer them in a pot of straight water for about an hour before BBQ'ing, I also do this with pork ribs, no oven, it will dry them out, as far as beef ribs go, don't like them, so the dogs get them...
