Posted - Sep 15 2011 : 04:29:20 AM I bought a jar of brown sugar pickles at a farm stand while we were on vacation, and they are awesome! And the best part is boyfriend could eat them because there was no salt in them. The ingredients were cucumbers, brown sugar, vinegar, cinnamon and cloves.
Do any of you have a recipe like this? I'd love to try to make some.
Thanks! Luanne

Posted - Oct 11 2011 : 06:11:52 AM While I was on vacation I asked a friend if mine about these pickles, and she said her mother used to make something similar called tongue pickles - maybe one of you knows a recipe by this name?
Thanks! Luanne
