Hello. I am looking for loaf pans that are long and have lids to make loaves more like sandwich bread. My family swears that the bread I bake is not the right thing for sandwiches. I grind the wheat and want this to be our only bread as it is so much more healthy. I can't seem to find a site with these pans, but I know they are out there.

Oh Brenda, I'm such a junkie for the King Arthur site! I live way out in the corn, and it's hard to get good fresh flour and other ingredients, so I shop there a LOT. I'm really getting into the artisan breads, and I adore their white whole wheat. It's a whole grain flour but this variety doesn't have the bitterness that most whole wheat flours do. I use it in virtually everything. And they have it in organic, and many other flours as well! I can hardly wait; I have an order being shipped now, and we're going to have a bunch of good rye breads when it comes. |

I was looking at pastrychef.com for something else and saw your loaf pans advertised there...and immediately thought of you.

I've seen these in the King Arthur's flour catalog as well, although they don't seem to have them on the web site.
