I can't wait to taste it. I post a picture on my blog today. Have any of you canned tomato jelly/jam/preserves?

The "Love Apple" makes wonderful tomato jelly. Our tomato's never got green this year.

Appreciate the little things, for they are not really that little.

I made green tomato jam a couple yrs ago and it was soooooo yummy! Was too busy last yr with mom sick but hoping to have some left at the end of the season to do it again this yr. The recipe is so easy and you'd never know it was from tomatoes. It's called Budget Berry Jam http://allrecipes.com/recipe/budget-berry-jam/detail.aspx

Thanks! I may go pick about 10 more tomatoes and make a second batch.

I've made Tomato Jam before, we love it! I had never heard of it until my husband shared that he enjoyed it growing up. It's great on a toasted or grilled English muffin. I'm just waiting for our tomatoes to ripen :)
