Posted - Aug 27 2011 : 4:31:39 PMIt just dawned on me that I have used 18 eggs today for a family of four! I will probably use another dozen in the morning to go with our sausage gravy and biscuits! I will be useing more than that actually because I am planning on making 2 loaves of banana bread tomorrow. Wow I never really thought about it before today!

Posted - Aug 30 2011 : 05:52:23 AMI once had someone ask me what I would do with "all those eggs" we get from our chickens. I almost laughed out loud. We have 7-8 people here and I use a lot. In the summer, when they lay more eggs, I make angel food cakes and homemade noodles. I do appreciate the hard work of my chickens.
