My friend brought me a bag of wild blackberries that she picked and I figured a good thing to do with them would be to make a cobbler!

You can see the recipe and pictures on my blog here:

Hope you stop by!

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

Blackberry cobbler is as Oregonian as webbed toes, rain slickers and beavers. (GO OSU!)

Michele,

I had been making "cake" cobbler recently too. I REALLY like this biscuit cobbler recipe I found though! :)

Candy, mmm, that looks good. My husband and I have recently been discussing the cobbler issue. I have been making what we refer to as "cake cobbler" the last few years because that is what he always had as a kid. I told him that I've been in the mood for "biscuit cobbler" like my mom used to make. Seeing your delicious looking cobbler reminds me that I need to make biscuit cobbler soon.

Looks really yummy. I already posted this on your blog, but its a totally different recipe than what we use for cobbler...but I think I like your recipe better. I think I will give it a whirl. :)
