I am looking for cake recipes that are yummy and fast to make....to sell at our Farmer's Market. I figured there would be no better place to look for them than on this site! I have recipes for squash cakes, and they sell good.....but would like to find a couple of different kinds to try! Thanks!

Pound cakes are great and you can flavor them by adding a glaze of powder sugar and lemon or orange juice. Plus, it's a great way to sell fruit to accompany them.

Lemon (or other citrus) pound cake. I have a weakness for the stuff and if I saw it for sale I'd have to have it, right then and there.

Hobby Farm Home Magazine's new sept/oct issue just had the results of a cake recipe contest, if you can get ahold of a copy at tractor supply co. or the library it's perfect for what you're looking for. Very exotic farm cake recipes.

I think a good carrot cake or zucchini cake would be good.
