So, as a few other posts have said, I'm hosting this years womens' tea at my church. I made scones this year, and these are just WONDERFUL:

2 1/4 ap flou
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 sticks cold butter
cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1/2 cup fruit
3/4 cup heavy cream

preheat oven to 400
food processor combine dry ingredients (I just whisked)
cut in butter;do not overwork-butter the size of pea
add in fruit
add in cream
put on floured surface-shape in 2 or three balls-cut in triangles with pizza cutter

I made mine half chocolate chip, half plain, and I've frozen them to bake the morning of. :) 120 of them!
