Hope these links help give you more ideas. We like to make sandwiches with bagel bread. They are great to take on hikes and not have the bread get squished.

Posted - Jul 04 2011 : 12:05:00 PMElizabeth~ That strawberry shortcake in the mason jar looks delicious - souds like a good idea for the beach! I usually bring peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cut up watermelon, frozen grapes, sunchips, some chocolate chip cookies and lots and lots of water!!
