That is a very cool find indeed :0). I had one for years but never really used it so I sent it to live with a lovely woman who collects vintage kitchen appliances. The lady that gace it to me brought her over from Italy (it has made in Italy on it!) and she used it for cheese and to make bread crumbs!

Oh I really like it! The color makes it special. They really work well too. I love non electric options.

I have one of those in my cabinet right now but it is green. Mine also has a drum for grinding meat and I use that quite a bit.

Hee hee My mom had one while I was growing up. I have shredded my tips of my fingers a time or two with that thing. But we used it a lot! Slices cukes and shreds zukes for relish. What a great find!

Absolutely gorgeous. I feel like my mom used hers when she was canning things like sweet pickle relish or chowchow.

I am jealous, since that green is my color of choice for my vintage, but still usable kitchen goodies...

nice, especially since I don't even have an electric food processor :)

Sheila, you have your very own, original food processor! :-) Whatever you would use your food processor blades for, you would use the drums. The only difference is that the power is coming from your muscles!! :-) Great color. You can now make slaw and shred cheese when the weather destroys your electricity!!

this one just has the three drums (one is in it currently) and the "pusher"

So. . .how much coleslaw do you have to make to need one of these babies? :)

I suppose. . .hash browns, what else?

So right - a food mill and I think there should be two more of the metal grate drums. I have seen a couple in the antique gallery which I had a shop in and they had four drums to them but you do have a great find... I too love the color - your one lucky gal... Enjoy!

How cute is that?

Love the color! It looks like it clamps on to the table or surface and the attachments are changeable. I would say it is probably a slicer/shredder thingie.

BTW, there are NO dumb questions
