Posted - May 08 2011 : 8:46:51 PM I ran across this site in reading one of my blogs (I forgot which one) for free sourdough starter (dried)from an 1847 Oregon Trail starter. The starter site is http://www.carlsfriends.net They ask for an envelope with a stamp and addressed. They do ask for a small donation. I did not send one to make sure it was legit. I got mine in today and printed out the instructions of how to rehydrate and feed it. I do plan to send a small donation, but you can't beat it. Good luck. |
