Posted - Apr 30 2011 : 1:03:14 PM Removing the greens is a bit time consuming, but well worth the work! I also use the recipe from praireland herbs, but I find that the use of food coloring is really not necessary. My jelly comes out a beautiful honey color without it!

You just substitute dandilion petals for violet flowers.
Be sure to have no green from the dandilions in with the petals, it will make it bitter.
If you do violets you only need to remove the stems.
