There is also good information on hard-boiling store bought and fresh eggs so as to not overcook them. These methods can help avoid the dark green ring around an overcooked egg yolk. Happy Easter!

Posted - Apr 30 2011 : 12:59:52 AM I love the pub style pickled eggs made with cider vinegar, salt, water and sugar. Cut up some garlic, onions, hot peppers, sprinkle in some peppercorns and mustard seeds for good measure.
