I've used it in everything and like the Truvia which is mixed with a little sugar.

But if you want a giggle and a look at the plant, you might head over to the blog and see my very authoritative view of the anatomy of the mouth. I'm sure that it really works that way! Let us know what kind of taste buds YOU have!! :-)

I like it in cold things, but I don't care for the taste in hot tea. Seems to have an underlying chemical taste, which is weird, as it's an herb.

I tried Stevia and it made me violently ill. I thought maybe it was a coincince so I tried a smaller serving, only 1/4 of a teaspoo, and I still got very sick. It is a good thing that I am a food lable reader because it is starting to be used in mainstream foods and I can't use it at all. Many people I know use it and love it.

It is the only food or food additive that I can't use.

Do you live near a larger town with a WalMart? They carry Truvia and something else - can't remember what it's called. That is a blend of Stevia and a little bit of sugar. Also, if there is a health food store anywhere nearby, they care the pure Stevia. Otherwise, you can go to several different sites online to order. To order in bulk, you can go to Frontiercoop.com and type in Stevia. But to try it, you could order from this place http://www.buywisdom.com/departments.asp?dept=1 and click on either 'sweeteners' or 'stevia extract powder'. The sweeteners section gives you stevia in single serving packets.

You have to experiment with Stevia to test what you like. I just use a tiny bit and it is sweet enough for me! Hope that helps.

Where can you buy Stevia at? I live in a small town and the grocery store doesn't give to many choices for things.

Take care, Melissa.

I use it. It has helped me lose 40 pounds over the last year. I merely cut out pop and drink green tea with stevia. It's amazing how many calories we drink.
