Posted - Dec 12 2010 : 3:42:41 PM I just took two loaves of bread out of the oven...is there anything that makes a house smell more like home than freshly baked bread? Cindy

Posted - Dec 16 2010 : 09:14:42 AM My kids always tell me that our house smells like cinnamon all the time. I didn't realize it was true until they started telling me that their friends tell them they like to come over for the smell. haha. When we first adopted our girls they were 6 and 8 years old and said that they loved the way our house smelled the first time they visited and remembered that. I think smells really can bring back good memories. Even if you had a bad day, if you come home and the house smells "right" it feels good and comforting. Personally I love bread smell even better! You are right..such a homey smell!
