Posted - Dec 06 2010 : 2:31:05 PM Hi, all! I'm dehydrating cranberries, and I think I did something wrong. They've been in there about 16 hours and they look like little hard balls rather than reddish raisins. Before I put them in, I dipped them in boiling water to break the skin. Was there something else I should have done? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Posted - Dec 07 2010 : 03:55:09 AM I was going to do this last week and my DH found a video about it. The video lady cut all the raw fresh cranberries in half and did not blanch them. She said it is time consuming but works the best. There is also a certain amount of time. http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1360856/how_to_dehydrate_cranberries.html?cat=22
