Posted - Jun 10 2006 : 1:57:52 PM I had a real sucess with my waffle experiment this morning. Having alot of extra cream and eggs I used about 4 cups of farmgirl budget mix, 5 banty eggs (which would be about 3 big ones) and a cup of cream (fresh from Mona!) and milk to get to the right consistancy and a couple tablespoons of fresh, melted and cooled butter. Then I added about 1/4 tsp of good watkins cinnamon and pure vanilla..about 3/4 tsp and mixed it all up with a whisk...gosh this made the best waffles!! We topped them with peach pie filling that I canned last August and had fresh cold milk with it..yum!!!

Posted - Jun 10 2006 : 4:36:13 PM Inspiring! I finally gave away our waffle iron since the kids became teens and didn't eat breakfast anymore. I should have kept it for hubby and me - breakfast for dinner!
I may have to get another one now that I've ordered budget mix.

YUM! That sounds fabulous. My family loves waffles. I will have to save this recipe for when I get my budget mix, if that's ok with you.
