I follow Cold Antler Farm blogged by JennaWoginrich who also wrote "Made By Scratch." http://coldantlerfarm.blogspot.com/ She wrote about the BBC series of Victorian Farm. I watched it last night. It is about three people who bring back an 1800's farm to a working order. It is just wonderful. It showed the good and the bad about farming. The best part is that it is free on the internet. You just keep clicking on the next frame when you finish watching one. It is perfect for a cold winter day/night. I loved the cooking on the coal burning stove. Enjoy and also Jenna's site is great for the beginner homesteader.

I've watched all the shows they have about the Victorian Farm. They have a Christmas show as well. They are great. Puts into perspective how easy we have it now in some ways and how chaotic in others.

Give thanks to yourself everyday for all the wonderful things you do!

The BBC has another series called Tales from the Green Valley. You can not see it on BBC, but you can on youtube.

Oh, SUZIE! That is one of my dreams - to own a Victorian Farm!!! I went to the Cold Antler Farm blog and couldn't find a link for the BBC series, so then I did a websearch, and it seems the video is no longer available online through the BBC(?). Please tell me where you found it online - I would LOVE to see it! Thank you so much for sharing! - Nini
