I just made homemade butter with my kids as an activity for The Little House on the Prairie book we are reading. In Chapter 13, the Ingall's get a dairy cow. My girls really enjoyed the activity and it is super easy. You can click my link below to see the pictures. We used store bought cream this time but fresh cream is in the future for us. We have two dairy cows around six months old. I can't wait to try it with our own cream.
