Last Friday I decided to go to a garage sale right down my street and found a gorgeous All American Pressure Canner 941. It is huge in great shape, just a bit dusty that is all. I immediately bought it and carried the 33 lb monster home but I think it is way too big for my stove and canning aspirations. I have never had a pressure canner so I haven't been able to can the veggies ect. I looked on ebay and they are super expensive. I just watched the exact same model but it had some rust and more wear then mine sell for 225 plus shipping (way over what I bought mine for) so do you think I should sell it and get a smaller one or keep it since I could never afford to buy it again retail was over $400.

For sure, keep it and try to make it work for you. You can always sell it later.

I have a huge canner as well. My DH got me a used turkey frier stand at a consignment shop to put it on. It works great that way, plus it keeps the heat out of the house when you're cannin. I use my stand for all my cannin now! Keep it for a while and if you decide you don't need it you can always sell it later.

Keep it! Go get a propane turkey burner if it is too big for your stove. You can set it up outside and the turkey burner will hold quite a large kettle.

Well, you could always try to use it once and if not E-Bay it! :D
