My husband stumbled upon a large patch of wild sand plums while off road bicycling with one of his buddies. He is trying to loose weight. He took the family over there lastnight and we picked a bunch of them. I can't wait to make some jelly too bad his diet will be ruined hehehehe.

Lorie! Poor husband! What a score finding them. I'm sure that you could use any recipe for plums and there are recipes for low or no sugar on pectin packages :)

That is so sweet of your honey. Sounds like something mine would do. Too bad he doesn't mountain bike anymore.

I don't make jelly but I am sure there is an alternative sweetener you could use.
