Does anyone have a dewberry cobbler recipe that they wouldn't mind sharing? We have been picking and freezing dewberries for about a week now. I am going to make dewberry jelly. But my DH wants a good dewberry cobbler and I've never made cobbler before. I don't have any idea where to start because I can't get to my computer at the moment. I'm having to send this via my Blackberry.

Thank you for your help!

Thank you Deb and Sharon. I will have to try both of them. I was finally able to reset my internet last night and looked up some reipes for dewberry cobbler. I like the taste of it, but boy I surely don't like the seeds!

I am going to make Dewberry jelly/jam in the morning and I'll make another cobbler with the left over berries.

Deb- The dewberry is closely related to the blackberry. My two year old daughter absolutely loves dewberries! It's like she can't get enough. She also has a good eye for finding them and picking them. They grow wild around here so we just drive up and down the road picking them. It's really addicting to see how many you can find and pick. It's so much fun for the whole family.

I'm not sure what a dewberry is. Sorry! But I always use my Betty Crocker cook book for my cobbler recipe. I sub raspberries for the blueberries in this recipe: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/fresh-blueberry-cobbler/9ca77184-8689-47dc-aa4a-681e8ee62231 It's always a hit.

Hope this helps. If not, I'm sure one of the lovely ladies here will be able to help you out!

I'm off to google dewberry!
