Posted - May 07 2010 : 4:25:36 PM I have been wanting to try this and even though it is not tomato season I bought 3 lbs of tomatoes and gave it a try.
It was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I really had a blast making it, and over all I like the flavor but I think I may like a little less of something, not sure what.
I was wondering if anyone else made the recipe or if a variation of the recipe. |

Posted - Jun 13 2010 : 7:10:05 PM Ooh Beth, I've been dying to try that! I just have to wait until we run out of store bought stuff! The hubby LOVES ketchup so we buy it at Costco, so we have a *bit* left before I can try making some. Going to make burgers tomorrow and try the mayo she suggests. Maybe if that's good, I won't have to put up a fight with the hubby about giving up Heinz for homemade ketchup!
