First, let me say, that discovering this Web site, the Farmgirl Merit Badge program, and everything else, has been the best thing to happen to me. I am baking farm recipes today and have realized the benefits of raising my own eggs (which we are doing) and all other farm animals (which we plan to add one year at a time). I have been so happy since we moved to this country farm house, and cannot wait to grow our garden. I've always been a "pioneer" by heart and this is exactly what I need - encouragement, sharing, help and so much more. I can't wait to sew my own apron.
