I just found out that I have to be gluten free and I love to make fresh bread. This is killing me!

I have been saving the gluten free recipes from "living without" for some time. You can sign up for it and you get a nice recipe in your email several times a week.

Do what you love, love what you do.

erin you can do it. i lived for 1 1/2 years without it. i am anemic so i was told to go gluten free. the girls are right. we even have restaurants now that have gluten free.celiac.com is a great site. we have a local support group too. our health food store coded every product in there with a yellow and red tag to say gluten free. i have made some good bread. i find it needs to be eaten quick it drys out fast. i ended up not having celiac. i used to make a flourless choc gluteb free. egg based. cant find recipe. sorry. there are gals on here with lots of tricks to help you. i remember a post where there is a bunch of girls. i think it was on here. let us know how it goes. i have to say you need to evaluate your bread boards and toasters. the crumbs can be a problem.just my thoughts sherrye

Erin- Oh I feel for you, but I know that now is one of the best times to be gluten free because so many people have started having problems with gluten, it is now on food labels and there are lots of great GF recipes out there!

Maybe you can get Maryjane's GF budget mix and use it for quick breads like biscuits and such.
