So, when I moved last summer, due to lack of space, I put canned goods, mostly jams and jellies up in the attic. It got HOT up there! The other day I went up to get some jelly and found it was more like syrup. Would the heat have done that, or just bad processing? Is it still usable? Can I re-process it? Help!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

If it still has a good tight seal, it should be good, I wouldn't reprocess it, but when you open a jar, you will know if its good for sure by the smell. I have had jams not set up before, they become ice cream syrup or pancake/waffle syrup. Don't store any canned stuff in the attic, it will shorten there life span.
