Hi, I'm Kim. I'm new to posting, but read MJF faithfully every issue. I recently ordered the Lodge drop biscuit pan to make the Puff Pancake recipe from the last issue. I made them last night but they didn't rise and 'puff' at all! What did I do wrong?

I made the gluten free version with white rice flour. Has anyone else tried them and did they turn out as flat and dense as mine?

Help!!

I don't have the recipe, but that sounds like a baking soda/baking powder problem to me. If you'd post the recipe, I could try to help! :)

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.
