I grew up with my mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunts etc. all having big stacks of recipe cards. I think maybe when you got married you used to just get a batch of about 10000, with your name on them, from some sort of "getting started in domestic life agency". Anyway....I have purchased some at boutique stores but they are pricey, then I checked online but the choices are overwhelming. Then - lightbulb clicks on - I remembered the Current catalog we used to get, I'm sure they had recipe cards. I checked online and they had one type - "not currently available", sort of ironic. So that is no go...
So here is my question - took awhile to get here - do you all have a good source for recipe cards? Can you still get them with your name on them? Where do they come from?
Please share your insights - I want to share recipes:)

Amy Grace-do you have a Hallmark store somewhere around you? That's where I buy mine...most recent acquisition has roosters on them.

When y'all are saying you buy them at Gooseberry Patch - is that their website? I should have mentioned that I don't have a printer so I can't take advantage of any of the free stuff online. Good to know that Michael's has them though.

I buy mine from Gooseberry Patch when they are $1 for a nice stack! Not personalized though. I'm sure that someone on Etsy.com makes personalizes cards. I'll look......

good question....I haven't seen them with the option to get my name printed on them. I usually go to Micheals and get them when they are on sale for $1 or $2
