My mom came to visit and noticed my honey jars were sticking to my shelf. She grabed a lid I had laying around and solved the problem! She placed the lid on the bottom of the jar which was already sticky, wiped my shelf off, and now I don't worry about the honey jar sticking to my shelf or my table cloth!

Good idea - I have had some honey messes when I was the bulk foods person at the organic food store where I work, big buckets of honey are kind of unwieldy. Once I headed out to tea with my mom only to realize that I had honey on my eyebrows:)
