Posted - Feb 24 2010 : 8:18:31 PM I'm not sure where to post this... but have a few questions. My 2.5yo was recently diagnosed with lactose intolerance- he also has severe reflux, which perhaps is being aggravated by the lactose int. anyway- I have heard that people with this, generally tolerate goat's milk a lot better than cow's milk. Anyone here have insight on this? while I'd love to try goats for milking, I'm not sure my other family members would appreciate it as much as I would.

Posted - Feb 25 2010 : 08:32:32 AM Goat cheese and sheep cheese are good choices too - if you get your own goats you could make cheese. mmmm, goat cheese, yum!! Amy Grace

Posted - Feb 24 2010 : 9:15:37 PM Amy, goats milk is way better than cows milk! It is almost the same as moms milk. It is way easier to digest too and has lots of good minerals in it. I think it would be very good for your son to try! But before you get goats maybe you could go to your healths food store and get some there and see if he likes it. I hope everything works out for you!!! Hugs, Channah
