It seems like a whole batch is too much and a half is not enough so invariably I have biscuits leftover. They don't taste as good the next day but there has to be something you can do with them - bread pudding? Other? Any ideas??
Thanks from me and my biscuits!!

We seldom have left-over biscuits but if we do I make cinnamon toast out of them under the broiler.

i love leftover biscuits, too. if i make them to go with soup, just dip them in the soup and you don't notice if they are fresh. or toast them... the flavor comes back to them because, like with pie crust, i leave large chunks of butter in them. then, when you toast them, that buttery goodness comes out.... it just sizzles in the toaster!

or make chicken/turkey/ham a la king or something like it to put over the leftovers! yummy!

Biscuits make GREAT croutons! Just break them up into bite-sized pieces, toss in garlic salt, and bake in a slow oven (150-200) in a single layer on a baking sheet until crispy. They don't keep forever because of the high fat content in biscuits and can get a little stale after a while, but they're a nice addition to salads! You could also in theory use them to top casseroles.

I'm actually making cream biscuits right now for supper, but I think my boyfriend and I will devour them all! :)

With my son, it's gone along with the gravy. If by chance there are some leftovers, the little girl and her daddy will eat them with jelly for a snack.

mmm... I'd split them open and top them with some country gravy for breakfast. Or I've heard you can crumble them up maybe add a little melted butter and herbs and then spread them in a thin layer and toast them in the oven to make seasoned bread crumbs.

Tee-hee, chubby birds, I have to say that the robins get fat enough on our cherries every year, I am not going to help them out with biscuits:) Thanks for the ideas!!

sliced open, buttered and put in the toaster oven - whole different taste, but we hardly ever have left over biscuits either.

Oh my gosh! I love left over biscuits! Depending on my mood- I like left over biscuits even better than when they are fresh! (but they have to be homemade!)

Red face, here. We never have left-over biscuits. I usually munch on them the rest of the day. Same with left-over sourdough pancakes. And I wonder why I need to diet!

Mine go the the chickens also, or maybe the dogs if they have been good!

Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!

My chickens are very happy to take care of any leftover biscuits we have :)

Take care, Melissa.

I feed the birds. And I must say, I have very chubby birds! ha
They actually wait very nearby when I take out biscuits or stale bread. They are spoiled.
