Posted - Jan 19 2010 : 4:04:52 PM I am having a problem keeping my wheat bread from getting dried out. I make 3 loaves at a time. I freeze one, put one in the fridge and keep one out. I have used gallon sized baggies. Also plastic containers. And I found an actual bread keeprer but it seems to dry out alot in that. It seems like my bread just started doing this, too.

Posted - Jan 19 2010 : 4:01:48 PM Has anyone tried the brown [for bread] stay fresh bags. I bought some last summer, these can be reused for a long time. They seems to really keep bread fresh! I also wrap mine in wax paper, it seems to help to. |

Posted - Jan 19 2010 : 1:11:56 PM Right now, I wrap the loaf tightly in a clean kitchen towel but that's only a short term fix. I bake on Sundays and I need the bread to stay good until Friday.

Posted - Jan 19 2010 : 1:04:17 PM I would love to know how too...plastic bags seem to be the only thing that works so far....I'd rather not have to use them though!
