So I got a box of Krusteaz bread that you can bake either in the oven or your bread machine and made the bread (in my oven) tonight. All I had to add was the yeast (that came with it) and a cup of water. Well, for what it was (from a box) and the price, it was well worth it. Not like my mom's bread, but very good. If you want something easy (you do have to wait an hour and 45 for it to rise though - no surprise), I'd suggest it!

I have never tried this bread or even seen it in the store. I did make some yummy bisquits this morning and I have to say with this cold weather there is nothing more comforting that the smell of hot bread fresh in the kitchen.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

We meet again Brooke. I've had that bread mix too. I did it in my bread machine. It was pretty tasty...it was also the dead of winter and snowing like it is now....evvvverything tastes good in the dead of winter. Right? Especially carbs....I crave them!
