Posted - Dec 18 2009 : 06:20:53 AM Yesterday me and the grand made cookies. Does anyone else have a problem seeing the little tiny directions on the bags of chocolate chips?? My goodness, I needed a magnifying glass. I don't remember ever having that much trouble seeing before. And it hasn't been that long ago that I made cookies.
We made 5 dozen chocolate chip with nuts and 1 batch of Surprise Cookies I found over on a blog. They are too good. I need to make some gingerbread now. I found a yummy recipe. And I also found the perfect gingerbread pan at World Market the other day. I might wait til next week and have it then with some whipped cream. Yum!
What kinds of cookies and treats are ya'll making for the holidays?

Posted - Dec 18 2009 : 07:08:20 AM That all sounds so good. I love trying new things every year. I love snickerdoodles. I have some dried cranberries and cherries I need to do something with. Maybe cranberry walnut bread.
Happy baking, ya'll!

Posted - Dec 18 2009 : 06:46:06 AM Hey Kris, Yesterday was my Christmas baking day. My DD's and I had a great time. We made fruitcake cookies, fudge, nutmeg logs, apple cranberry squares, 2 pecan pies, 1 pumpkin pie, red velvet cake.
Then we went out for dinner.
Good times!!! Have a good weekend.
