This time of year I like to make these with fresh cranberries. It sounds odd, but its delicious.

Take a bag of fresh cranberries. Wash them and let them dry in a strainer.

Melt your favorite chocolate in a double boiler. I LOVE dark chcolate but milk and white chocolate are also really good. White is really nice for Christmas.

Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Put a small amount of chocolate on the baking sheet and then top with 3 or so cranberries, then while they are in place put more chocolate on the top to hold them together. The chcolate on the bottom is sort of the glue to hold them together as the chocolate wont stick to the berries very well.

Let them set up and store them in the fridge.

They have a nice crunchy tart bite followed by ther sweet smoothness of the chocolate. I make these all season long.

I make these for my jewelry home shows this time of year and my clients love them. They are also really pretty on a candy plate.

Happy Thanksgiving!

YUM! They would make a nice sweeet tarty combo. They would be really good while you are watching a movie. Thank you for sharing, Carol

Forget buns of steel, I'd rather have buns of cinnamon!
