We are having a crazy fall (hot and cold) and the other day I picked a bunch of violets to candy. Has anyone else ever done this ?
My Gram used to but I actually tried it myself after I saw them in a MS Living recipe. Easy and such great surprises for people when they realize they are real! Bramble

I did pansies to put on our wedding cake when my husband and I got married. I used a small maple splint basket on it's side and it looked like all the candied pansies were spilling out and down one side of the three tiered cake. I loved it.
