Posted - Nov 03 2009 : 1:51:37 PM i eat green beans straight from the can, I recently tried them fresh and sauted, EW! but I boiled the rest and they were ok. gimme those fancy cut cans o' green beans and I'm happy!
I also remember having olive eating contests with my grandmother. We'd see who could get to the bottom of the can faster.
and I went through two big bottles in two months of tabasco with my first pregnancy, now I think it's totally too much! how funny!
it's really fun reading everyone's, and Marcy, my husband is called fussy for liking things plain as well. plain food folks make me laugh, cause I'm a super condiment girl myself, the more condiments the merrier!

Fritos dipped in BBQ sauce (you should try this, they are fantastic!!)
Hot Fudge sauce, NOT CHOCOLATE SAUCE, Hot Fudge sauce. I like Hot Fudge shakes, on ice cream or straight out of the jar. I make my own and it is soooooooo good. I try not to make it very often since I will eat it if it's in the house.
Tomatoes out of the garden. Just shake a little salt over them and I could eat them three times a day while they are in season.

Posted - Nov 02 2009 : 1:15:43 PM Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches are my FAVE. Have been since I was a little girl.
I eat olives from the jar, but I don't like olives on any food or IN any food. Huh?
I like cake donuts. Plain ole cake donuts...icing or glaze ruins a good donut!

Posted - Nov 01 2009 : 12:05:22 PM Maybe this isn't quite the same as all of this, but I have a thing for sorting foods. For instance: I eat my M&Ms by color. I eat all the folded potato chips first. I eat my popcorn one kernel at a time so I can look at it - I can't eat it in a dark movie theatre. I sort all bagged cookies and crackers...... My hubby thinks I am ocd

Posted - Oct 31 2009 : 09:39:29 AM I like everything plain. No ketchup, mayo, mustard-no add ons at all. No sauce, no gravy...nothing. And I am always called fussy, which I don't understand. Really, just give it to me plain, what is so fussy about that? Plain is just that, plain. The choclolate chip and peanut butter thingie sounds yummy! I am going to have to try that now!

Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 12:38:30 PM I'm obsessed with curry. Indian curry, Thai Curry, Japanese Curry, South African Curry, Malaysian Curry, even scrambled eggs with curry powder mixed in (American curry?) -- You name it. I have 5 curry cookbooks, and when we didn't have children I served curry nearly every night. I've scaled back, but I still dream of curries.

Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 06:12:48 AM I'm just a choclate eater. However, I have a friend who only eats burnt grilled cheese sandwiches. At his wedding when everyone was enjoying a nice meal he had a burnt grilled cheese sandwich. Same at picnics anytime. He is a brillent man and good friend who is easy to please, as long as you have burnt grilled cheese sandwiches.
